LiveArtX Stolen Incident Update: A Total of 197 NFTs Stolen

NFT platform LiveArtX released an update on the theft incident in the official Discord channel, saying that the hacker obtained access to the treasury wallet on October 17 and stole a total of 197 NFTs, of which 100 belonged to the treasury and 97 were planned to be used for marketing activities .

The hacker completed the sale by accepting the bid. At present, the team has upgraded the contract and frozen the relevant NFT, reminding users not to buy. For users who have purchased, the team will repurchase and provide additional compensation.

The official team claimed full responsibility for the incident because they did not separate the operating wallet from the treasury wallet, nor did they implement a multi-signature mechanism for the treasury wallet, and the private key was passed to multiple team members.

Earlier today, NFT platform LiveArtX disclosed that its official wallet was stolen.
